The Night Before

[whoooooa!]

Ginger Ale. With. Tequila.
Ginger Ale. With. Tequila.

"This is it" "no matter how you look at it" declare the "not just for Keanu fans" fans (which you "probably never hear"); "get lost" in the "lusty" "whatever" and "finally shed the first T" during this "real life" story that "keeps bringing us back" to the "wonderful" "bad part."

I won't get weird.
I don't even know anybody named Tito.
We're probably missing out on some really good ethnic food, if we just look around.
I bought some information with my last $4.25.
95% of all the people murdered are murdered by somebody they know. You know anybody here?
(other guy: Hey kid. Let me get you a drink. Whattya have?) Ginger ale. (og: And?) Tequila? Tequila. Tequila.

[whoooooa!] This is the real life drama of a high school geek who got in over his head with the prom queen in a bad part of town. OK, not really. This is a wonderful tongue-in-cheek comedy about a high school geek who got in over his head with the prom queen in a bad part of town. This movie is not the original reason why we 'Thon, but it is one of them that really keeps bringing us back.

[whoooooa!] This is absolutely why we Keanuthon. You've probably never heard of this movie, and that's a shame, because it's an honest-to-God classic, and not just for Keanu fans. Keanu and a pre-"Full House" Lori Laughlin get lost on their way to the prom and end up on the wrong side of town, in a bar where George Clinton is playing and where "Do you take credit cards?" is met with a lusty, "oh yes!" Hilarity ensues, and I mean that quite sincerely.

[whoooooa!] 'Thon me. This is it. A classic no matter how you look at it. Spawned "The Keanu." While still a teen (at the ripe young age of 24), Keanu manages to finally shed that first T (as in "Troubled Teen") - sure he'll get all "Troubled" for a couple of more movies after this one, but what a gloriously un"Troubled" teen he doth make here. What sounds like a retread (geek gets to go out with the most popular girl in school and everything goes terribly wrong, in a funny way) manages to turn into fabulousness (real word, really). Whether it be the out of sequence/in sequence time structure, the brushes with the right & wrong sides of the law, or the whatever - it all seems to work all too well. Perfectly timed comedic performance from Keanu. "Are we going to talk? Or are we going to rock?"
